Stockholm Exiles RFC have the pleasure of inviting entries to the Stockholm International Ten’s which is being held for the 15th year in succession. We are honoured to see that our Ten’s Tournament continues to grow in popularity. In 2006 there were 64 entries in five classes, with close to 900 players participating in some 110 matches during two days of exciting rugby, while also taking the opportunity of enjoying the pleasures of the Swedish capital at its summer best.

As you must know, France and more especially Marseilles is hosting Rugby World Cup 2007. In margin of this event, the Provence Rugby Committee is organising an International Ladies Beach Rugby Tournament.
I am writing to give you the opportunity to take part in such this event.
The International Ladies Beach Rugby Tournament will be held on September 8th and 9th in Marseilles on the Prado Beach. Every participant will be invited to the Velodrome Stadium to watch the New-Zealand / Italy game counting for group C of the RWC 2007.

INVITATION TO ENTER
Stockholm Exiles RC have the pleasure of inviting entries to the 2007 Stockholm International Ten’s which is being held for the 15th year in succession, with the same main sponsor as in 2006.
We are honoured to see that our Ten’s Tournament continues to grow in popularity. We have already received numerous applications of interest for 2007, so we are once again planning for a total of 64 entries:

Ladies’ 16 teams
Old Boys 8 teams
U19 Ladies 4 teams
U19 Men 4 teams
Playing Format: Following the close of entries, teams in Classes 1, 2, and 3 will be drawn in pools, with seeding at the discretion of the organisers, based where possible on past results. The results in the pools will determine continued play as follows:
The Men’s Open will be broken down into four competitions: Stockholm Ten’s Cup (places 1-
, Plate (places 9-16), Bowl (places 17-24) and Shield (places 25-32)
The Ladies’ Open will compete for the Stockholm Ten’s Cup and The Plate (places 9-16).
The Old Boys and U19 teams compete for the Stockholm Tens Cup in each class.
ENTRIES: Entries will be accepted in order of completed entry forms being received by latest May 1st and payment of entry fees being received by latest May 15. To ensure inclusion in your chosen class, we suggest you submit your entry form at the earliest possible date.
Note – Ten Places in the Men’s Open and six in the Ladies’ Open will be reserved for Swedish entries. The organisers reserve the right to change the number of entries in each class if deemed necessary and to determine which entries are accepted.

Dierkower Elche laden zum Hanse-Masters Rugbyturnier
Am Samstag den 11. August 2007 organisiereren die Dierkower Elche aus Rostock die Hanse-Masters. Alle interessierten Teams sind aufgerufen an der Erstauflage dieses Rugbyturniers teilzunehmen.
Das 10er-Turnier findet am Sportpark Gehlsdorf im gleichnamigen Stadtteil Gehlsdorf statt. Die Teilnahme gebühr beträgt 60€. Ankick ist Samstag voraussichtlich 12 Uhr.
Doch an diesem Wochenende steht natürlich nicht nur Rugby im Vordergrund. Zur gleichen Zeit findet die Hanse-Sail in Rostock statt. Eine einmalige Gelegenheit Sport und Party, mit 1 Million Menschen (!!!) zu verknüpfen. Wem das aber nicht reicht kann natürlich auch schon Freitag Abend anreisen, um für das am nächsten Tag stattfindende Turnier in Stimmung zu kommen.

Kosten: CHF 15.– pro Nacht und Person. Die Übernachtungskosten sind von den Mannschaften im voraus mit den Einschreibegebühren zu bezahlen (vgl. unten).
Zu Beginn des Turniers hat jeder Mannschaftscaptain eine vollständige Liste mit Namen und Adressen der Spieler, welche in der Zivilschutzanlage übernachten abzugeben.

Der AK-Sport des AStA, der Hochschulsport der Uni Trier und der Rugbyclub Trier laden alle interessierten Teams ein zum Beachrugby Festival 2007. Zum fünften Mal in Folge treten Teams mit Spaß am Spiel im Sand, an zum Kampf um den ersten Platz und die berühmte goldene Kokosnuss.
– 5er-Beach-Rugby (max. 10 Herrenteams) –

Sportstätten und Modus:
Das Turnier wird auf dem Gelände der Sportanlage Petrisberg stattfinden. Dort stehen vier Beachvolleyballfelder zur Verfügung, welche zu 2 Beachrugbyfeldern (geeignet für je 5 FeldspielerInnen) zusammengefasst werden. Der beabsichtigte Spielmodus sieht für jedes Herrenteam mindestens 4 Spiele plus Endrunde, sowie für jedes Damenteam einen
Ligamodus mit je 5 Spielen pro Team vor.

Anmeldung: Die Unkostenpauschale beträgt pro Team 50 Euro.
Dafür gibt es neben der Teilnahme am Turnier freien Eintritt zur Party danach, sowie Platz zum Campen und Frühstück.
Platz für selbst mitgebrachte Zelte befindet sich neben dem Spielort. Das Frühstück umfaßt Brötchen mit wählbarem Frühstücksbelag und Kaffee oder Tee.
Motto:
Wie jedes mal gibt es auch dieses Jahr die goldene Kokosnuss für das beste Entertainment, Tourmotto und das Erfüllen der „speziellen“ Turnieraufgabe“.
