Welcome to 19th edition of the Gent Rugby International Easter Tournament!
The tournament will take place on the 7th and 8th of April 2007
The rules will be those of XV rugby union.
We will be receiving teams from Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Holland,… and this for both men and women.
The event will take place at our new venue on the beautiful Blaarmeersen – our local sports and leisure park with dressing rooms by the lake – only a stone’s throw from the bustling centre of Gent.
There will be an opening ceremony followed by a party on Friday, and of course there will be another party on Saturday! On Sunday evening, we will be accommodating anyone who doesn’t want to go home yet.
The enrolment fee is €150/£100. Youth fixtures for U19s, 17s, U15s are available on demand, for both Saturday and Sunday, no charge.

We like to invite you to join our 2nd Old Boys Festival on Saturday 22nd March
and/or 8th International Youth Rugby Tournament Sunday 23rd March 2008
For the Old Boys (O35`s) Festival the maximum of teams will be eight.
There will be two full pitches to start around noon and finished at latest 16.30 hours.
A three course hot meal €7,00 will be available after the games followed by a big party.
The Youth tournament will be played in the age groups of U19/18 Colts,
U17’s and U16’s Juniors, U15’s and U14’s Cubs – all 15-a-side.
U13/s and U12’s Minis (12-a-side) U11’s and U10’s Benjamin’s (9-a-side) and U9/8’s Turven (7-a-side)
The tournament will start at 11.00 hours and finish at latest 16.30 hours.
Played by the rules of the IRB with prices for numbers one, two and three and a memory for every team.
Entrance fee will be € 75,00 per team include 22 lunchpackeges and a playing ball.
At the end of the tournament a hot meal three course meal will be available for € 7,00 per person. Also a tournament shirt shall be made; more information about this will follow in a next newsletter.

Members of Rugby Club Krusevac are very happy to invite ALL INTERESTED LADIES SIDES to take part in 6th International Rugby Sevens Tournament – KRUSEVAC 2008 that will be held on August 23&24, 2008.
All show-up sides will enjoy this opportunity to get to know our town and its places of interest, apart from playing in this very unique Rugby Festival.
The Tournament will consist of 2 levels:

From the first tournament ,2001, more than 40 teams from Australia, Fiji, England, Bulgaria, Russia, Romania, Wales, Hungary, Poland, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Belgie and Serbia took part on Krusevac 7s.
Participation fee is 100 Euros per side for Ladies.
Participation fee include:
– T-shirts for all members of team (12 items)
– 2 tickets per persons for free drink on Rugby party
– barbeque and drink on the pitch after closing ceremony
We can offer a few options for accommodations:
– Student hostel – price 15 Euros per person/per day (include accommodation and 3 meals)
– Privat hostel (just sleeping for 10 Euros per night)
– Camping in own tents
– Hotel Rubin (3 stars) in Krusevac downtown

The Dendermonde Rugbyclub is proud to announce you the 15th edition of the “Flanders Open Rugby Tens” tournament.
We organise the “Flanders Open Rugby Tens”, an international rugbytournament in the weekend of May 10 & 11, 2008 with 55 teams from all over the world.
As in previous years we are choosing for 10’s Rugby as this provides a better game formula for both players and spectators. The game is more energetic and the tries are most often very spectacular. Those present at previous editions of our tournament will certainly confirm this.
The DRC is playing in Belgium’s first national division and has continuously placed itself in the top 2 of the Belgian championship. During the past 14 years, the tournament has become the biggest in his kind in Europe. Each year, more and more interested clubs react to our invitation. The last two years we have had teams from the U.S.A., Canada, Russia, Israel, South Africa, Serbia, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. As you see we receive teams from all over the world. In this way we like to invite your club. You are more than welcome.
From Friday May 9th (18h00), you will be welcome on our grounds. On Saturday May 10th, the first games will kick-off at 09h30 sharp (You may best arrive on Friday-evening!)
On the Saturday-night there will be a marvellous Rugbyparty in the big tent. On Sunday we start at 10h00 and the Cup Grand Final will be around 17h00. The referees are flown in from England and are members of the East Midlands Rugby Union Referees’ Society.
TOURNAMENT-FEE
€ 250 – 175 GBP (€ 125 – 87,50 GBP will be paid back at the tournament in the form of tickets). The ultimate date to book is 2008, January 15.
LODGING
A rugbytournament doesn’t necessary have to be expensive. On our tournament, everybody sleeps in large and comfortable tents around the pitch. This provides us with a unique tournament-atmosphere.

1 night: € 250/175 GBP – 2 nights: € 475/335 GBP – 3 nights: € 700/490 GBP
Tent 30 people
1 night: € 375/265 GBP – 2 nights: € 700/490 GBP – 3 nights: € 1025/715 GBP
Tent 40 people

We operate a very simple “first pay will play” rule, and do not reserve any slots aside for one for last year’s winner. We maintain a waiting list when the tournament is fully booked. The changes of re-entering a team from that list are almost non-existent.
