Beach Rugby Turnier
Hiermit möchten wir alle Frauenmannschaften zu unserem Beachturnier am 29. August in 27442 Gnarrenburg einladen. Uns gibt es erst seit einem halben Jahr und wir sind seit kurzem Mitglied im Hamburger Rugbyverband. Zur Zeit bestehen wir aus 7 Spielerinnen und 6 Spielern. Natürlich sind auch alle Herrenteams eingeladen. Gespielt wird auf 2 Feldern mit je 4 Spielern und max. 4 Auswechselspielern. Bei Interesse einfach unter noackjcj [at] web.de melden. Startgebühr gibt es keine.
12 Hour Rugby is a charity rugby match organised by the Altrincham Kersal Women’s Rugby Team. It has run bi-annually since 2002 and is currently in the planning stages for the 2008 event. The monies raised from the 2008 event will go to help support The Pituitary Foundation and the Breast Cancer Campaign.
How does 12 Hour Rugby Work?
In previous years 12 Hour Rugby has consisted of one single continuous women’s rugby match, running from 8am to 8pm. It used a three-team rotation system with teams changing every 1/2 hour in order to allow players some time for rest, recuperation, food and drink, and running repairs. This means each participant could play as much as 8 hours of rugby in one day. This method has worked well so far and wil be used again in 2008.
Is that all?
No! Altrincham Kersal are a fun sociable club, and if you have any energy left after all that rugby, there’s usually at least a disco put on afterwards for entertainment, and a bar to help you numb the pain.

Die Deutschen Rugby Frauen (DRF) suchen per sofort eine/n Trainer/in für die 7er Frauen Nationalmannschaft.
Grosses Ziel ist die Teilnahme an der Weltmeisterschaft 2009 in Dubai.
Erste große Aufgabe ist die Phase 1 der Europameisterschaft, die am Wochenende 31.05./01.06. stattfindet, Phase 2 findet bei ausreichender Qualifikation am Wochenende 14.06./15.06. statt. Als Vorbereitung sind bis zu zwei Lehrgänge geplant.
Voraussetzung:
- hohe Motivation das deutsche Frauen 7er-Rugby weiter zu entwickeln
- idealerweise A-Trainerlizenz
- Vorkenntnisse als Trainer/in, idealerweise einer Frauenmannschaft
Dem zukünftigen Trainer erwartet ein hochmotivierter Kader und tatkräftige Unterstützung des DRF Präsidiums.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S RUGBY TOURNAMENT ON SATURDAY 24TH AND SUNDAY 25TH OF MAY 2008 VERDUN – FRANCE

first , I would like to introduce myself . My name is Nathalie Pouzenc , I‘m French , I am in charge of the ladies rugby teams in the north east of France. I‘m organizing for the third time an international tournament ( 20 euros/person entry fee required ) taking place this time on the Spring bank holiday week-end in the populous city of Verdun in the heart of the most important events of World War 1 with the most famous battle of the century . http://www.verdun-tourisme.com/
There are different ways of coming to Verdun ( in the northeastern France ) :

Satuday : teams welcome – sightseeing –night at the hotel
Sunday : breakfast , lunch , game , a snack after the games
The night at the hotel , breakfast , lunch snack are free.

As you must know, France and more especially Marseilles is hosting Rugby World Cup 2007. In margin of this event, the Provence Rugby Committee is organising an International Ladies Beach Rugby Tournament.
I am writing to give you the opportunity to take part in such this event.
The International Ladies Beach Rugby Tournament will be held on September 8th and 9th in Marseilles on the Prado Beach. Every participant will be invited to the Velodrome Stadium to watch the New-Zealand / Italy game counting for group C of the RWC 2007.
